    Mods coming soon
    Hi everyone, new guy here.

I got a new 2016 tacoma trd sport 4x4 a few weeks ago and found this forum while looking up mods and accessories. Looks like a cool place to hang out.
The first trip out in this truck was out to the Anza Borrego desert to teach my 13 year old daughter how to drive. Spent about 6 hours 4 wheeling around the bad lands. What a nice truck! Really like the six speed stick but miss the transfer case lever and lock out hubs, oh well.
Looking forward to many miles of good times from this one.

Welcome to TW and nice truck! There seem to be fewer and fewer manual Tacomas being bought new. Also, glad to see people are still buying access cabs! I've seen tons of third gen double cabs, but not very many access cabs.

    Thanks 03 NIGHT TACO.
I know what you mean. This one pretty much just my personal ride, maybe a passenger once in a while. The jump seats work fine when needed.
Not sure why stick shifts are going away. I guess if you don't drive stick your not going to teach your kids either.

Congrats on your new Tacoma! Its very convenient not having to get out and lock the hubs... Maybe I'm just lazy. :anonymous:

Agreed. I plan to keep stick shifts alive - I'm only 17 now, but one of my main goals is to teach my (future) kids how to drive stick! :burnrubber:

    Thanks guys.
Those are some nice rides. Looks like I got a lot of work to do, but that's half the fun.
That sc is tops on the wish list, but the off road stuff will get priority.

Definitely, teach them how to use the clutch and they'll be able to drive most any vehicle the rest of their lives.
