I was thinking (it hurt a lot...) after reading about the CAI debate, why not mod the filter box and pull a duct from the side of the box thru the firewall to the passenger side under the dash. Air will be a lot cleaner than anywhere else, warmer in the winter time and colder in the summer. And if your friend didn't change the socks in a week, that methane will boost the HP!
In AZ with temp in the 110F in the shade, asphalt temp over 130F, under the fender CAI is anything but CAI. Also would eliminate the need for that hideous snorkel...
    Thoughts?

You will suffocate because the engine will suck in every last bit of oxygen in the cab. Not to mention the vacuum being pulled on the interior will cause the entire truck to collapse in on itself like it was a crushed soda can.

This isn't a bad idea. Could be dual purpose to use as a vacuum when it comes times to detail the interior. Drop a fry on a road trip, just kick it into the duct work, nbd!

Ford routes a small part of the exhaust through the firewall into the cabin for the passengers to hear the sound of the V8.

There haven’t been any related deaths from this. But that’s probably as far as I’d go.

I’m working on patenting my latest invention called “Methane Turbo Boost” which is basically a series of tubes poking out from the seats in the cab of the truck. The tubes will run directly to the combustion chamber of the engine. Don’t worry there will be a series of valves that only allow gases to travel towards the combustion chamber and never the opposite way.

This is how it works: Before sitting down, everyone lowers their clothing and underwear just enough to insert the tubes into their respective rectums as they sit themselves down onto the seats. For the remainder of the ride, every time somebody farts the methane will be directed right to the engine’s combustion chamber Thereby adding power and economy, instead of being wasted by being released directly into the atmosphere - a most unpleasant experience for everyone not to mention the ecological damage.

The way I see it, my invention could revolutionize the industry. Think about the added efficiency and economic gains; especially after a night out at the local Mexican restaurant. There is no downside - err, short of a sore ass but I’m working on that...

Kinda' the same idea here, but involves riding around with a cow in the back of the truck.

Hey it was my idea first! Is this going to be one those Tesla vs. Edison deals? Cause I’m not above roasting an elephant to prove my systems better....
