Friend needs help leveling out his Tacoma

    My friend has a lifted 2005 Tacoma that is higher in the front then the rear.
    His lift is the Toytec 3" best seller lift with 2"aal.
    The Bilstien 5100 is set at .85 and the Toytec lift is the 884 coil with the top spacer installed. For the rear no tsb, just the 2"aal.

    Correct me of I'm wrong, but is the front lifted close to 4" and the rear only 2".
    But since the truck comes from factory with a rake he is just higher in the front by 1" right?

    What would be his options?

    We're both rookies.

    He doesn't want to lower the Bilstien. Should he go for a 1" or 1.5" block just in case rear saggs

    4 inches is too much left of front. If he has a 4 by 4 he's gonna eat cv joints.

    He does have a 4x4. His cv boots angle isn't that bad. I know he has rubbing issues in reverse due to his 17x9 rims with 265/70/17 duratracs.

    then replace the leaf pack. All pro expos are a 4" lift

    I'd still lower the front though, I'm running 3" and I've blown both boots. Didn't think my angle was "that bad" either.

    That looks exactly like mine were... Had to install aftermarket CV's. I think the boot slipped off of the 'washer' thing that held the boots on the shaft. Wasn't too bad to replace both of them. 1st one took 45acp and I 3 hours, second one only took 31 minutes :D

    Most people like to think their" Cv angle isnt that bad", but did they engineer them? No. Trust me, and the others on here, anything over 3" is asking for issues.
