Just noticed this yesterday and took care of it this morning. Did a quick search last night too and I guess its a common issue.

The leaf spring bolt on aftermarket leaf's is pointed towards the gas tank. Mine had started rubbing a pocket into it. Flipped it around this morning and filled in the hole. Good to go now.
