Too many to fit here now!
I wonder how many times we've all passed each other on the road and didn't know it.

4 wheel parts has a store open now in Frisco. It's at the mall facing the SRT where the Sears auto used to be. I'm having them install a detroit truetrac next week. If I don't forget I'll post and let everyone know how it turned out. (They currently have about a two week wait for installs. :frusty:)

Update... I had to cancel my install so I could get something else fixed. (Not my Tacoma.) And they were wanting me to pull out my third member myself and bring it to them.

Are they any good? I've only heard bad things about 4WP.

My experience with the guys at the counter was great. The guys in the shop however expected me to do their job.

Hey everyone. I just moved north of Frisco in Celina (Prosper ISD). Does anyone know of a good independent shop in the area (north Dallas) that works on Toyotas? I recently took my GX to Lexus in Plano to address some issues I'm having and they quoted me almost $10k for repairs. I'm taking it to another shop tomorrow, but figured I'd ask if anyone know of a good offroad/Toyota shop.

What did they say actually needs to be done? 10k is steep.

I'd like to know that too. I've used a&g in celina before when I was working in celina. I've also had good luck with protech and Tommy's over in Denton. I try to stay away from stealerships. I've never had good luck with them.

You can also try D&V in Celina. I've mostly used them for tires, but they do work on cars.

They are taking you for a ride.

Now I'm even more pissed. How the fuck does someone sleep at night ripping someone off like that.

I got the paperwork back from Lexus today. What they found seems reasonable given the age of the vehicle. I'm still not paying what they're asking to fix it though.
