Just wanted to say Hi and see if any members switched over from the Tundra platform? I recently bought a 06 Taco and I plan on selling my Tundra soon. I'm going to miss the big bed, interior space, and most of the power! The Taco feels tiny compared to the Tundra but it's a very capable truck. Only thing I will be towing is my waverunners and maybe a boat in a future. The Taco has big shoes to fill!

Welcome to the forum from Vermont .
I went from a 1GEN Tundra crew cab to the tacoma. Miss the roominess at times, but the DC Tacoma is a better fit for me & it tows my enclosed snowmobile trailer just fine.

thanks guys! I love the Tundra sooo much but I need to pay some bills off. I got a good deal on a Taco. I just hope i can adjust to a smaller truck and less power! The Tundra always stood out but i'm not going to miss the gas mileage i got with the 37's:D

I get a little better gas mileage than 10 but I baby it. 37s kill you on fuel in stop and go traffic. Tundra's are built like a tank, I've personally seen some on head collisions and they took the damage like a champ.

    BowzerDoo:

I've seen your truck before when I was buying my 6" lift. Your truck looked great when did you sell it? The Taco is fine choice, just takes some getting use to.

I just had no use for it too much truck for me I guess. I sold it in may of 2010, but I loved it besides the gas mileage it got
