    Hey guys I am back! Last month I sold my 1995.5, 4x4 Tacoma and bought a 2001, Pre-Runner, double cab... I am still a little unsure about my new buy... Need to hear what you guys think and MORE than anything some ideas of I should do with her mod wise...now some info

    My 1995 Tacoma
    4x4, manual, no electric roll up windows,144k, 5100' up front, 5125 in the rear, deck plate mode, front locking hubs, 265/70/17 tires and rims


    2001 Tacoma Pre-Runner, electric everything great shape, 154k, needs leafs in the rear upside down frown

    I miss the lift and knowing it was 4x4, but needed room...

    PreRunner 4x4, Homebrew Front Bumper, Homebrew Sliders, Homebrew Skids, Homebrew Bedbar, Homebrew Beer
    No worries; these are easy to convert to 4x4. I was in the same boat.

    Oil field truck with 250k miles...original powertain. Wheelers 881's/5-pack, Energy bushings throughout.
    They both look very nice! What engines are in either? Being in AZ, 4x4 is hardly necessary...

    They are both 3.4... yeah well AZ we have a lot of desert to have some fun... not a must, but fun... good way to look at it...

    I got a double cab simply b/c I have my son. I think it's a great truck and will have it for many years to come. Both are great trucks though, just depends on needs

    Yes, the previous owner put this NASTY hood scoop attached by double sided tape. That was the first thing I did when I bought the truck was take that crap off! With the help of my wife I heated it up with her blow dryer and removed it... came off without any damage thank God!
