So I am brand spankin new to the world of Tacomas. I am going from a 2016 mustang GT to a Tacoma this week, and I am super excited.

That being said, my only experience with modifications has been with sports cars, and not trucks. I have a little knowledge on trucks, but I am hoping the Taco world could help me out.

I dont drive stock, ever. So the first things I will be doing is turning that Taco into something more “me”. I want to do a 3” lift, and some beefy looking tires. Ive been reading thru some of the threads on here, and it seems like 33s are the largest I could fit.

What setup would you all recommend? I do know I want the wheels to be Methods, in probably a 17.

    Thank you!

Hell ya! Thats a sick set up. Which kings did you go with? Is that size tire the biggest you think I can fit without rubbing on a 3” lift?

Heres my girl..wont be too sad to see her go, though. Excited to move on to something that I can have some fun in the desert with.

I went with the ext travel and total chaos upper arms. I was going to get the adjustable ones but I'm not one to adjust something haha, I usually just leave it and drive it lol. I clear 33 just fine but I did a CMC, if you want to go bigger you're more than likely going to rub and will probably have to trim some plastic lol. If you're 2wd you can get the maxtrac spindle and that will give you a lot of clearance. You'll probably still have to trim on 35 tho lol.

I miss my mustang at times but they're cracking down on cars out here, got tired of getting pulled over. Its nice to have my coffee and not worrying about shifting haha.
