Got my MK6s mounted today. I'd ordered the 0mm offset, but it discount tire mis shipped 3x -10 offset and 1x 0mm offset.

No one seemed to realize the difference until the were mounted and balanced. The manager was very cool about it and said they'd make it right and get me taken care of this week.

I'm still running the stock 245/75/16s and have no rubbing, so I may have him just replaces one and go with the -10.

Anybody have a side shot, maybe with 2-3" lift and 265/75/16s?

Trying to see the difference in poke between the 0 and -10 offsets, and some truck shots.

Im also real close to the inner fender lip.... It doesnt sound like it, but im wondering if anyone is having these issues also? Not sure why I am... thanks

I had the same issues. Removed both front mud flaps and trimmed a little plastic on the front plastic piece close to the cab. No rubbing at full lock either way :)

I think that is the rear plastic in the front fender wheel closest to cab? That was the little piece I was talking about. I just went to a local park and would turn the steering wheel until I heard rubbing and cut away. :D

If you have alloy wheels. If you have steel they will not.

I'm not sure what magic that discount tire did, but they swapped the ones from my steel wheels over to the MK6/ that I just put on.

I was just about decided but now the question about thread engagement has me worried. Are the lugs that Discount sells correct for this application or just close enough that most people don't question it but probably should?

I had bought the ones discount tires sells but I got scared after talking to people on this thread and bought the et version of them. I have a new set of the lugs from discount tires and a set of 4 et locking lug nut used for two days that I'm willing to sell

I'm looking to possibly get the MK6 for my truck along with some larger tires, but I'm completely new to this, and have no idea whether or not I'll need to make any modifications to my truck or wheel wells in order to make everything fit without any rubbing issues. I'm also toying with the idea of lifting between 1-3", but haven't decided just yet, so if that makes a difference, please let me know!

I have a bone stock '14 TRD Sport DCLB with the 17"x7.5" wheels, and 265/65/17's, but I'd like to move to the 16"x8" MK6 with 265/75/16's. I'm trying to figure out which MK6 to get, the 0mm offset, or the -10mm. Will they both just fit right off the bat, or am I going to need to make some changes? The MK6 backspacing and width is somewhat different from stock, so I'm worried it won't fit without modification. I'm mostly wondering about whether these wheels will hit the brakes and if I'll have to trim the wheel well to clear the tires, as I've heard that these are somewhat common issues with the Tacoma. Also, as I understand it, I'll also need some longer lug nuts to get the proper thread engagement.

One last question, do the center caps simply pop out so that they can be changed, or is it more involved than that?

I've tried searching everywhere, but haven't found any consolidated source with all of this info in one spot. Thanks for any help, I'm just getting into this, so I clearly have a lot to learn.

265/75/16 will fit with out a lift. I think your are better off with 0 offset with no lift. -10 might rub with no lift. But if you are planning on a lift either will work, the -10 will just widen your stance slightly.

I went with the -10 offset because I was running 285/75/16 on factory wheels with 1.5" spacer and a 3" lift.
