I just picked up my truck tonight and this is my dream truck. I would take it ANY DAY over the Denali. I know you are being sarcastic, but this 2022 F250 platinum is pretty damn nice inside. I can see myself in this for the next decade. Every bit of regret I had, thoughts of money I spent trying to love the Tacoma is gone... all gone.

This ford in that pic towing my tacoma has well over 200k miles on it No major repairs ever done.... he has only owned F250s for the last 2 decades. He upgrades usually around 250k+ miles.... but, I get your point. Diesels are a different animal and typically last longer that gas engines though.

I loved the looks of the Tacoma (along with the aftermarket options) and I'm happy to have been able to mod it myself and at least get that out of my system. In the end, it just wasn't for me...mainly cause I like the space and ride comfort of the larger trucks. I'm glad I got to experience it and glad to have found such a great community in the process.

Btw, I got 35k for the Tacoma in the end... one dealer offered me 38k, but they they were so damn unresponsive I gave up on them (Laura GMC.) I took a *****, as someone stated earlier, but in the end, I'm very happy with where I ended up.

I get it! Just an FYI though... on my way back from the dealer to my buddies house, on flat ground, I got 23 MPG over 60 miles.... doing 65.

I still wouldn't mind having an F-250 I don't need a diesel although I think they make a better truck and wouldn't go for a Platinum. I prefer the 22s over the updated 23s. I do like the STX pkg for 23 LED headlights, and color matched bumpers. I don't like the addition of carpet and the additional cameras as standard on the STX.

Who are you kidding Coma, you'll never buy anything and live with your 2012 Tacoma for the rest of your life... Not so bad tho..
