I was a little skeptical of the interior when I first saw it online as well. But in person I think it looks a lot better. More of a caramel color rather than an orange.
And no I didn't add it, it came with it. Which did surprise me.

    No I'm not a stalker...
That company auctions off cars that are totaled for insurance companies.

Most of the time you have to have some kind of license to buy them but sometimes the general public can buy them.

Glad you are o.k. and back in a Taco. It´s amazing how the whole interior fills with airbags. Sorry you had to find out that way, but now you know how safe your new truck is. I am still debating between a Sport or SR5, thing is around here, most dealers are adding stuff on the SR5 and its price is the same if not more than most Sports.

Wow, glad you're ok. Nice to see those side curtain airbags deploy. Was curious how they work on the new Tacomas.
    Be safe.

    None... sigh
Drugged/drunk drivers should immediately lose their licenses. Other drivers scare the shit out of me, never know what someone else is on or into. Happy you're ok.

Aztecred28 - Having survived that accident, you might be interested in beefing up your tailgate a little. I don't know if you have seen how flimsy our 3rd gen tailgates are, but they aren't the strongest on the market. And, the composite/fiberglass skin covering the inside surface of the tailgate is attached with nylon nuts. Look at this thread (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...cement-plate-for-3rd-gen-tacoma.416706/page-1) and you'll better understand what I am talking about.

Thanks man, I appeciate it. I did not get any pictures of the car. The DPS officer that responded to the wreck took a bunch and provided me with them plus the entire crash report once he submitted them.

Yep. Wizardry also tends to not age well.

Glad you are ok. Nice looking truck. Saw my first QS live the other day, I must say it will hide pollen and other types of dirt well!

Glad you're ok, and at least I now know that the taco can take a licking.
But, did it keep on ticking??
    Did it start again??
I know it couldn't go anywhere, but inquiring minds wanna know if it kept on ticking!

I never tried to start it again at the scene of he accident. But someone did post a link to the auction site that it is listed on, and it does say that it can be started on there.
