Wondering if I have something disabled in the shifter. I can go from park to drive or any gear without pushing on the brake. Doesn't bother me much except when I'm loading a boat at the launch all alone. E brake for sure!!

Are your brake lights working properly?

Shift solenoid interlock is stuck in, broken or has been bypassed.

If you have cruise control and the brake switch was stuck cruise control wouldn't work and the brake lights would always be on.
