Okay, she that's what I remembered reading, was that that one tended to fail a lot. So basically you're saying that was just an early design flaw that has been corrected?

What would be the main difference between that one and say like the camburgs?

Yes just an early design flaw.

I don’t really know that much about Camburgs but I think camburgs have a uniball and Spc has a ball joint. I prefer a ball joint because it is more protected from debris and I go in a lot of mud
Also spc are the most adjustable UCAs I know of. They have camber and caster adjustments so you don’t have to get one right and just deal with the other

Camburg is a welded tubular arm, more designed for extreme off reading. The LRs are a cast design, and basically a stock replacement w the proper offset for larger lifts and tires.
Yeah, the new ones have greasable ball joints. You can't go wrong with either imo. But my lack of off reading pushed me to the Light Racing model

When you say cast... Do you mean just cast steel or forged steel? Reason I'm asking is cast is brittle... Haha

What's the difference between the ball joint and the uniball?

Cast steel. They have been using cast steel on suspension components for YEARS...Think of how many cast strut assemblies they have in the world..lol and cast spindles...it's all on what you plan to do. I had them on my 08 for years, w no issues, and have never heard of anyone breaking them, unless they just plin were trying.
I'm not familiar enough with the uniball to tell you the difference. But the ball joint on the ones I have are huge, and are easily greasable w a rubber boots to protect them.

Forged steel. This is straight from spc website

Designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in Colorado; SPC Performance’s adjustable upper control arms are loaded with the features you need. Improve suspension travel, handling, and tire wear while you center your tire in the wheel well to maximize clearance for your oversized tires. Equipped with greaseable ball joints and xAxis™ sealed flex joints in bonded rubber sleeves, this arm will both correct alignment angles and restore factory ride quality. SPC's forged steel design provides the strength and durability needed for the most demanding environments. (Sold in pairs.)

Uniballs are stronger. But if your not doing high speed desert running I see no need in them. I get plenty of droop with the ball joints

    Well thank goodness it's forged!

I'll have to do a bit more looking... I'm still a bit because because I still keep finding the people talking about them sometimes failing... And that makes me nervous.. haha

I've also seen one called like country tuff. Is this like a knock off or lesser quality brand?

I have never heard of them. I would stick to what has been to proven to be good. If you want a uni-ball camburg, Icon, or total chaos. If you want a ball joint SPC, or JBA. Dirt king also Uni-ball, ball joint and Heim Uni-ball UCA's
