This always confused me. Everyone claims it'll hurt but MPG but the OR doesn't it and has the same MPG. If the skip plate giving the OR a +1 boost?

Yes. I believe the OEM skid plate adds enough HP and hit points that it negates the lack of air dam and therefore the MPGs are the same. Read it in the owner’s manual.

Excessive wind noise can be countered using the radio. That's what the volume controls are for.

Not that you are complaining, but why do people think a motor vehicle should silent when they are driving down the road?

Wether it's sound from the engine and drive train, or the sound of cutting through the wind.

My dealership took mine off when they did my lift, I am glad they did. The truck looks way better without the thing.

Took mine off for looks and no regrets. Easy to uninstall. You can always re install it if you aren't liking the truck without it.

Take it off. If you decide you don't like it for whatever reason, put it back.

It's so easy my tool inept neighbors could do it.

Air dams, a few pieces of plastic chrome, tires that came on the truck from the factory, and my A/C drain tube dripping water on my frame have not cost me any sleepless nights.

The OP ask for people's opinions, probably to get input from those that have already removed it. I gave one as did others. There's a ton of stuff that people have done to their trucks here that I would never spend money to do to mine, but it's their truck and if it makes them happy that's all that matters.
