You don't buy a $30k+ truck for the mpg....that's what a Prius or a Fiesta is for

Pretty sure if those same engineers thought it was ok to not install it on the offroad you'll be just fine removing it.

You're right. OR does not come with the air dam. If it did I would seriously question Toyotas common sense with an off-road model.

For that 3 degree of approach angle that 10% OR users actually make use of over the stock approach angle? Sans air dam looks so much more alpha in suburbia though...

Yep. It's not necessarily that everyone needs that much approach angle all the time, but why build an off road model only to make it worse off road? That's what I meant.

Up here in the Great White North... if the snow plow has not come by the time I'm leaving in the morning, the "chin strap" becomes a snow plow very quickly...have not broke it YET, but that may happen this winter...

Where'd you get that nice skid plate?... Does it have an access panel for oil changes without dropping the pan..??

Looks great on your truck man...bet it serves the same purpose as the plastic "thingy" as well as protect the underside...
    Where can I get one..??

just leaves your panel a lone, remove 4 screws and it fit right in, that skid fr. Toyota dealer. cut that deflector about 2 1/2 inches.
