    Front diff seals? Where the axles go into the diff?

    I did this job myself. I didn't think it was too difficult. It's nice to have a helper though. I used a long flathead screwdriver to pop the axle out of the diff. Maybe change your brake pads while you have it apart.

    If you've never changed a CV before it may be difficult to you.
    However, you don't even have to remove the CV from the wheel hub.
    Remove the 4 lower BJ bolts, pop the CV from the diff, and swing the spindle/ CV away from the frame (taking care not to stretch the brake line).
    Worst part from there will be removing the old axle seal in the diff.

    Watch where the old axle seal is seated and replace the new one at the same depth.
