I've started to get more ambitious and do more work myself on my vehicles. Over the past week, I've been doing new front rotors and pads on my 2007 Taco 4WD Access Cab w/2.7L 5-speed manual. The right front brake line bracket bolt head was rounded off so I've ordered a bolt extraction set from Harbor Freight. I want to replace the bolt once I'm able to remove it. I don't have a fastener size gauge. Does anyone know the bolt spec? All I know is the hex head is 12mm.

I was trying to avoid that :) but did it and the bolt seems to be unique. It's a flange bolt M8-1.25 x 22 mm, but it appears to have a stepped diameter - thinner at the tip before going to 8mm diameter. There's also a washer, even though it's a flange bolt, that seems more or less captive. The bolt also has a small unthreaded shoulder. So I called my local dealer and it's Part No.:90119-A0174 if any of you need, or care, to know. Otherwise, I think a normal M8-1.25 x 22mm flange bolt with a washer would work just fine. Heck, maybe a serrated 20mm would be fine.
