Going with Centric high carbon rotors for the fronts ($80 shipped for 2), but I'm wondering about the pads. Looking into Hawk LTS's, Advics (AD0799), Akebono, EBC green, and StopTech street performance. Opinions?

You looking to upgrade your braking performance or just maintain your original brakes?

The 13WL Tundra brake upgrade is one of the best mods I've done.

Just look at the difference in rotor size:

Staying stock here...I like the Advics (AD0799) the best

When I was stock I used the PowerStop z36 extreme truck and towing system - that's the rotor you can see in my pictures. I liked it but I never ran any other aftermarket pads or rotors before that.

How did they last? Any rust on the rotors?

No rust. I still have them but I took them off when I did the Tundra brakes.

They were fine when I took them off, I only put less than 5k miles on them. I don't think the rotors tend to rust unless you leave them off the truck.

Or leave your truck parked in the driveway not driven for days, months, and through rainy weather.

Best bet is upgrading to the tundra brakes, best thing I have done to my truck, find a junk yard and pull the parts off a tundra to do the swap

I went with the above pads ADVICS AD0799 ($25 on eBay) Ultra-Premium OE Replacement (Includes Preassembled Shims and Molybdenum Silicone Lubricant)

Plus I went with OEM front rotors (2) from the dealer for $135 total
