I feel the brakes are due for an upgrade. Time to change the pads and I wanted to upgrade things slightly. Thinking about the PowerStop Brakse rotors and pads from AutoAnything.

I see they have 2 different types of kits for the 06 Tacoma.

Any feedback on these? Any other ideas for around the same price? Not going to do anything radical like a big brake kit with bigger calipers, just wanted to do an upgrade while I'm doing the pads. I've always felt the brakes were a little weak.

    Thanks!!

I've read alot of good reviews about the HAWK LTS pads, however I went with their HAWK super duty pads only because I tow alot, I like them so far, but only a few miles on them.

I personally don't feel slotted/drilled rotors will do much, if anything, on these trucks. I'm doing my brakes soon and will be going with the Hawk LTS pads and some Brembo blanks. I may also so go with SS lines which I think you'll see better braking with that rather than the slotted/drilled rotors. There was a definite improvement on the '05 Altima I had when I went with SS brake lines.

Thanks for the input. I'm also considering the SS lines.
