Hey boys...whats up with the 'kinda gay' shit. That's like saying do you want a candy bar and only giving the person the wrapper.

I support our military...their minds, uniforms, and everything underneath. :D

Now makeup and let's get past this 'kinda' bullshit and back on brakes. :amen:

This exact situation occurred with me last Wednesday (5/10/17). I washed the truck ('16 TRD Sport), in preparation for a trip the next morning. My driveway is on a slight incline, so I always set the hand brake, before washing. I backed the truck into the garage to complete detailing, and it sat overnight. The next morning I started the vehicle, put it in drive, and gently pushed the accelerator. The vehicle would not move, and it appeared to have the hand brake on, or the wheels were chocked. I left it running, placed it in park, then got out to check for anything that might have gotten stuck under a wheel; all were clear. I put the truck in reverse, but still no movement. Then, in a bit of desperation, I decided to apply a bit more pressure to the accelerator and, with a thud, the vehicle broke free, and my 500-mile trip went off without any further hitch. So, the condition is real, no matter the underlying cause. I plan to report this malfunction to the service department at my next visit. I have washed the vehicle several times before, under almost identical circumstances, but this was my first experience with this issue. With my other vehicles, I sometimes get the typical squeak, until my first brake application, and then no further issue. I have even made my wife aware that she may notice this sound in her SUV, immediately following a car wash. But, I have never experienced this relatively powerful sticking condition. For whatever it's worth...

Hosed down my truck for about an hour to get all the mud off from the Lone Star Toyota Jamboree and had no issues with mine, hope I never do.

Ok, washed my truck yesterday and parked in the garage when I was done. Got in to leave for work today aaaaand...brakes were locked up!! Forward and reverse a few time was a no go. Put it into 4x4 and that was no go as well. I pumped the brakes several times, about 10, put it in drive and BOOM....I was unstuck and on the way to work. Took about 5mins of trying before it was "fixed".

Edit: Small burnout marks left in the garage from the rear tire...

Washed twice had it the same issue its something with ABS had to have it towed to dealer. Specialist came from Toyota California clutch was burnt and flywheel was toast replaced under warranty but they refused to acknowledge ABS. Theres a video on youtube that shows it perfectly many comments about people having the same issues. A Toyota tech said unplug ABS for a second should fix it.

    Happened to me this morning.

Touchless wash last night to get road salt off. This AM, truck lurched forward with back left wheel spinning but didn't go anywhere. Tried a little clutch, a lot of clutch, and 4hi before I decided to pump the breaks until full. As the pedal reached max pressure something popped and the red check brakes dash light came on for a second. Then all was normal, drove to work and back no issues.

Front wheels didn't seem to spin at all (not sure) in 4hi making me think those calipers were seized. Guess it could have been rear right drum.

Corrosion/adhesion seems like a good guess. The heavy road salting and the binders they put in it can't help.

Will have stealership look at it next visit.
