    Hello,

I have a 2015 TRD off road with Bilstein 8112s/8100. I ordered a set of Archive Garage rear #3 bump stops and was looking at the Wheeler fronts.
My question is do I need the 1” optional spacers in addition to the bump stops? I have roughly a 2 1/2” lift in the front and the Wheelers fronts are for 0”-2” lift.

    Thanks

Only if you want to limit the up travel for some reason. Like if you put too big of tires on your Tacoma and are worried they will hit the fender.

I had 285/75R17s and they rubbed bad. I put 270/70R17s on and they rub just a little on the back of the fender. It seems to be under compression that they rub.

But only when turning though, right? It's a common issue on these trucks when putting larger tires on. 32" you can usually get away with, anything 33" or above you will 100% rub back there. Just gotta do a little trimming of the plastic liner back there to prevent that rubbing. And remove the mudflaps if you haven't already. Some guys even have to cut out of chunk of the metal cab mount to get the necessary clearance.

You would have to add like 3-4" of spacers to the bump stops to prevent that from happening. Which is obviously a terrible idea. Bump stop spacers are more for preventing the tire from hitting the top off the fender when fully stuffed. Usually only an issue with 35"+ tires.

Yes, full lock when compressed. Its not nearly as bad as it was. I removed the mud flaps right away. If they still rub after installing the bump stops, I’ll trim a little as it’s apparent where the tire rubs and it’s mostly on the passenger side.

Thank you for the info, much appreciated.
