    So this morning I came out to my truck and found this: 20181103_111452.jpg 20181103_111458.jpg
    And after some investigation to figure out what asshole swiped me in the middle of the night, I come to find out that it was one of my buddies who had his music too loud in his Honda CRV, go figure.

    So now I need to figure out what to do with the damn thing. He said he'll pay to fix it, but I have been thinking about putting on an aftermarket bumper now that this ones shitted up.

    Any advice on replacing these bumpers, where to get OEM parts or what aftermarket bumper to get is appreciated

    Get a quote for the repair and tell him that’s what you need from him. Then use the money to get a metal bumper.

    Get a quote from a couple of auto body shops or maybe buff it out and use a paint pen maybe.

    Get an SSO slimline. Pretty good looking lo-pro bumper.
    If you're looking for just the damage to be fixed, take it to a body shop. They can write an estimate on a bumper without taking anything apart.

    It's the bumper and the surrounding color piece also looks scratched.

    Yeah the grille surround. Just R&R, .5hr on repair + paint. Nothing on this truck has to be torn down for an estimate to be written.

    Depends on how good of a buddy that hit you. Doesn’t look bad but estimate to fix would probably be more than enough to cover anything you choose as a metal replacement

    @jtomellini

    Depends.
    If youre not after a winch, i think there are a few that are offered as replacements.
    This tends to open a whole can of worms... for me anyway

    This was most definitely the product of a few cold ones.

    I love that slimline, how hard is the install? Pretty scared to cut my bumper.

    @okichewy1 here's a better look at the lights behind my grill. I did not use some fancy mount, I drilled holes in the plastic behind the grill to mount the pods and i bolted the light bar to the metal frame upside down, pretty easy with a little ingenuity and saves a few hundred on mounts. 20181104_105125.jpg 20181104_105151.jpg
