Front bumper time boys and girls... I've been holding off because I was convinced I wanted an aluminum plate bumper... But not so sure. I've got a Shrockworks rear, and it's a work of art. Actually lighter than the stock bumper/ hitch that it replaced. Their front bumper is around 140lbs... I'm not putting a winch in it, and this truck is way longer than anything I'm going very far off road in... Strictly a deer shovel. Opinions on 140lbs- am I gonna notice it? Is there a lighter bumper I should be considering? 140 seemed fairly light for a steel plate bumper.
Front suspension is 5100's (at zero) with toytec coils (not the heavy ones) Thanks!

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Well OP you won't be so lucky with the front bumper, an aftermarket one is going to be heavier than stock for sure - but the stock one is a formed sheet of plastic so that's to be expected. But if you have factory coilovers you might need to upgrade your suspension? Some of the top brands include...

ARB around 175lbs (this is what I have and I can say it's one hella sturdy bumper, I could throw a cow out of my drive path!)

    Shrockworks around 140lbs

    Alpo is around 115lbs

    Aluminess is about 60lbs
