Looking for front bumper options for my 2019 off road. Hit a deer the other night on right front corner of truck and busted bumper up. I was looking at ARB and body armour front bumpers. Noticing they all have you cut front bumper to use parts of it. Issue is the bumper as small crack where meets a fender and mounting tabs broke off too. Still waiting to hear back from my insurance adjuster.

I used the R4T filler panels and didn't need to cut my bumper. There are plenty of options out there for these trucks...pick one that matches your style and requirements. Search google for tacomaworld and whatever bumper you are looking at and you will see lots of posts on here.

seems like you’re looking for a bumper more like a ranch style to protect from animal hits. There’s many out there like ranch hand. Not my cup of tea but will work for your application.

In my opinion if you are not a big off roader let the insurance company put it back like it came with a OEM bumper. I’m only a fan of steel bumpers if you have a use for them.

In a prior repair I used a State Farm preferred body shop. With these shops SF accepts the shop's estimate and doesn't send an estimator. All of the payments from SF go to the body shop and I just had to pay the deductible. I wanted something different and the shop said "no" it has to be done as OEM. All I wanted was the bed's TRD Sports stickers left off.

A couple years ago I hit a dear that caused a lot of plastic damage. I went to a smaller shop that was in the SF network but not preferred. For this estimate I had to use the photo estimate app, which came in low. Fortunately, the shop dealt with SF and got it increased. When I was talking to the shop's owner about the repair, I mentioned an aftermarket bumper and he was open to the idea. Also added, "Keep in mind I run a body shop, not a mod shop so don't go to crazy."

I went with the Body Armor Hiline plus the wings in the corners.
If I didn't do the wings, I would have been close to breaking even with the payout.

To install the BA you remove that corrugated black plastic part and the brace behind it. Cutting the plastic bumper is required for the Hiline and some more cutting for the wings.
Your bumper damage looks pretty high up on the bumper than mine so I'd guess you'll need a new one if you go with the BA.
I've got Bilstein 5100 with 2885 springs so I was worried about weight and sag. From reading everything I could find the BA was one of the lighter steel bumpers. Aluminum would have been sweet, but $$. Greenline makes a similar looking stealth bumper with wings in both steel and Al but it was $$$. Plus, I've got awesome aftermarket fog lights (DD SS3 Max) and wanted to keep them. Some of the bumpers that go higher up mentioned that they readily accept BD or Rigid fogs, but said nothing about DD.

The ARB's look massive. They'll definitely give you some protection. The BA is kind of ornamental compared to some others.

I don't have drivers assist so keep in mind compatibility with sensors if you've got all off that stuff.

Thanks for the replies. Talked to my insurance adjuster and they are fine with a aftermarket bumper. Have Erie insurance and used their photo submission then will get with local body shops. I have an BA rear on the truck I installed last year. I do off road in my 06 access cab with an ARB and will continue until my kids are older to go and need the extra room.
