    Are the front brake calipers/pads the same on an '05 D-cab as a '99 X-cab?

    Purely assumption, I say no. 6 years and two different generation trucks is a long time for the same brakes to be used ...

    I'll look around tho see if I see anything definite.

    Its just a thought, I have a set of new pads in the garage for crushed and recycled '99. You are probably right.
