This is my first post and my first Toyota truck but I love my Tacoma. I want to install an anytime front camera and hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

    Background:
I purchased a Car Solutions front camera kit on eBay and while the features are exactly what I want, the unit did not work right out of the box and customer service was so frustrating I returned the unit. My only communications method was email and since they were located in China, there was a 12 hour delay in each response. After 4 days and 2 tear downs, I got mad and sent the unit back. Ironically I sent to a guy in California.

Is there a representative for this unit or one with the same features that has domestic support? Ideally, I could call support and get real-time help while working on the install.
    All help is appreciated.

Perhaps we can guide you through "what issues" you had with it, in case you run into the same problem again.

I found it a little daunting, but once I was done I realized how easy it really was. It was more a case of procrastinating.

I don't know about other front cameras, but Trail Grid Pro has better setup for Anytime Front/Rear camera, they provide "Plug and Play" harness to install, you pay another $30 for it. I have it installed in my tacoma.:D

Does their harness allow for the switch to light up with the dash lights? Or is that something that has to be done separately?

The “plug and play” harness allows the switch light to light up, the same time as dash lights. But I should have mentioned, you pay another $30 for “plug and play” harness.

I just installed (yesterday) the anytime setup on my 2021. It definitely seems daunting, especially when you dump out the kit and look at the mess of wires. I watched multiple videos and got pretty comfortable with the process and found the video below to be the best walkthrough of the install. Like has been mentioned, you can buy the kit with all of the connections made from Trail Grid Pro but I bought from CaliRaised ($179 with a coupon) and soldered up the wires myself.
