I picked up the car solutions anytime front/rear camera mod kit and the natika camera off Amazon. Going through the threads I see a lot of people mounting the camera just above the area where the garnish sensor would be on the pro grille. The ones I have seen do not have the sensor garnish on as they have a 16 or '17 model.

My question is for guys with the sensor garnish on the pro grille where are you mounting your front cameras?

Here's a pic of a garnish with a hole in it drilled for a camera.

That seems like a solid idea, interested to see how it turns out.

My big question/concern is will the camera affect my sensor if it is mounted like that in front of the sensor?

I bought my front camera setup from a guy who used that garnish. He said it worked well for him.

In the video I posted that's not an issue from what I understand the way he mounted it.

I plan on buying the pro grille - so I'm def going to do my drilling and install before mounting the grill. To me if you don't own the pro grill and plan on buying it, and also doing a front mount camera, do them at the same time and save yourself some hassle.

I needed a camera with a wider lense. All the cheapie ones didn't do it for me. Anyone know where to get a better quality cam?

Good video but don't mount the camera like that guy did. I don't think it looks too good sticking out past the grill (about the 41 minute mark). Easy fix is to just take a Dremel and notch out the part of the grill below the camera. Much cleaner look doing it this way. I also used a 1/4" bit even though the directions called for a 5/16" bit. 1/4" was plenty big.

The Anytime Backup and Front Camera kit is a great mod!

I mocked up my camera in that location in the center of the garnish. I double sided it up there with a little tape, tied off the wires and drove all morning. No clean sensor light, so I'm mounting my camera flush with the grill and directly center of the garnish. Hope it code free.
