I know the front camera thing has already been talked about on here. But has anyone out there done a front camera install and have a front collision radar on their grill? It looks like it’s the only spot to put one but I’m not sure if the front radar will be affected if the camera is near or within view of it.3C8ACA68-D93C-483A-8DC2-B9A258CE8FC6.jpg

I like that install! That was what I wanted to do but worried about interfering with the radar. Any issues?

No issues with the radar. Be sure and get the Amazon Yimu camera, it was the only one I could find in that form factor which could be programmed for front facing. Many say they can, but only flip the image upside down.

This one works too, Chuanganzhuo. I was testing it out on my old tv to make sure that by cutting the green wire, it changes to normal view (front view).

Interesting. I bought 2 of those cameras trying to make them work. Cutting the green wire caused the image to flip upside down rather than toggle the mirror image. Another TW member also had the same problem. Fortunately, they are very cheap.

Sorry to ask the obvious. But why front camera? It is a rock crawling or parking thing?

I use mine just to catch all the absolute stupid in front of me on the road these days, some of it is worth a comfy chair, beer, and peanuts, and slow-mo review that evening!!

Thanks! I bought the pioneer because i used it on my tundra last year when I installed a front and back camera. I know it’s a lot more but the video quality is very good. I’ll post some pics after install on 11-1-18

I bought the camera back in 2016 because of an Amazon lightning deal. I took it out of the closet after I read about members having issues with them. I guess there are different batches.
