I went through trail grid pro for mine. I didn't feel like spending the extra time to splice the harness together; it works great. I mounted under the ring around the Toyota letters. You see less of the bumper. I would agree it's still better-suited for offroading and parking.

Recording from it would be nice, but a dashcam gives you a much better, more expensive view.

P.S. I also sealed the seam around the camera body with silicone.

I originally got the standard camera and mounted it to the sr5 grille by drilling a hole on the under side of the Toyota emblem that gave a really good view of the area directly in front of the truck but more of a ground level view that's more suitable for parking and seeing off road obstacles. I already had a dash cam. The dash cam is way better for it's purpose in the more expensive view of what is in front of you and the lanes next to you when driving. I really think having both have some value. After getting in to a minor accident with someone 3 days before I took delivery of my new truck I realized the reason having a dash cam is a good idea. The situation was a stop sign violation where I was stopped first and proceeded straight across while the other driver ran the sign made their left turn and ran into the side of my Jeep. They claimed they stopped first and all. It became a he said we said thing and the other insurance company wouldn't pay out. Video evidence would have saved me my deductible and a collision claim on my record.

I changed my grille to the OEM TRD grille from a 2021 I got from another member. I used a metal mount that requires no drilling. I think that link was posted by someone else already. That puts my camera back some so it's less noticeable but I can see some of the grille at the top of the image. Still it works for it's intent.

Looks good, would you be willing to share the files for me to try printing that for myself?
