What kind of mega extended warranty do you have that Toyota did this for you, recall or not?

TSB or extend warranty thing. IIRC if you have a 3 leaf pack, they will install a new four leaf pack

Toyota replaced the rear leafs on my '05 last spring, at 170k. Per recall #14V604000.

3rd gen TRD coilovers will give you 1” or less lift up front. Why pay for new coils and 5100s that are valved for more lift when you can pay half as much for the same or better results?

I don’t see the point of buying 5100 if you’re just keeping it at stock height.

No warranty required for this one...just a recall...the attached 3 PDFs are the letters I got from Toyota Canada....they replace the leaf springs, u-bolts, shackles, bushings...

Any idea where I can get 3rd gen TRD coilovers (ready to bolt-on)? Other than dealer....Got a part number? Can go to dealer but getting parts from another vehicle is so fun...I can install everything myself...thx!

Sorry I could have given a little more info. They appear in the 3rd & 2nd gen marketplaces forums often due to how many people upgrade theirs. Here is a great price for a full set of OR as an example. For this deal you would have to pay shipping and resell the rears but it’s a good enough price you can make your money back:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-trd-offroad-suspension.540925/

Or wait a bit and see what else pops up. Also check Craigslist. I paid $175 for (4) shocks shipped and then $85 for the coils shipped after. Cheaper obviously if you can find them assembled already. But if not it’s easy to install them using the truck as the spring compressor.

If you want a stiffer ride get the TRD Sport blue hitachi parts, for a softer ride on/off road get the TRD OffRoad bilsteins.

Don't know if the TRD PRO has a different suspension. Are you suggestion TRD PRO from 2nd or 3rd Gen?

2nd Gen, especially for the price they are selling for.

Anyone have info/specs on 2017 TRD PRO suspension? How do they compare to 3rd gen TRD OR? I found a full set of front struts (fully assembled) and rear shocks....taken off the truck when new...
