Yes, the spring perch is installed correctly haha and yeah I can see how easy it is to install it wrong lol. during the installation while I had the whole assembly at full droop the Balljoint on the UCA got stuck in the spring on both sides and I had to use a pry bar to pry them back out. Once I put the tires back on and let it off the lift I had like an inch of clearance between the balljoint and the spring. If that helps any

I did some searching.... so UCA's help to add more clearance between the spring and the balljoint?

yea pretty much. they even give you a little more travel since the uca isnt getting caught up in the coils

So I guess I'll be needing some new UCA's. I would like a uni ball one to allow more travel and have narrowed it down to the camburg and TC ones. Any input on the two? I'm leaning towards the camburg since funds are lacking and I don't want to break the bank

i dont know too much about 1st gens, so i couldnt tell you which uca would be best, but i would imagin you cant go wrong with either Camburg or TC

Just checked my stock coils w/5100's & at full droop (front wheels slightly off ground but still making contact) & I can see where it might be a problem....

Yeah that would explain the slight rubbing seeing how the Eibachs (or EMU's for that matter) are longer than stock allowing max droop I reckon,, I take theres no sway bar also...

My sway bar is still on there but it doesn't rub thankfully lol. I didn't think that it would rub when I got this set up but apparently I was unlucky enough for it to happy enough. There are other members that I've talked to on here with this same setup and they've had no problems

Maybe you need to just break them in. Go out and flex your truck, go offroading.

Brian: Haha if I can't figure out how to stop it from clunking I'd consider it! JK lol

Doug: Do you think that I'd just have to break them in? I've only had them installed for like two weeks and haven't done anything but on road driving and haven't had an alignment yet either
