I have a drop bracket lift on my truck and i'm wanting to get rid of it and make it stock and put another lift kit with coilovers and the crossmember has been cut. Is it possible to buy another crossmember and weld the part of it back in that has been cut off? The one I'm referring to is #2 in the picture.

What drop bracket do you have? Assuming you can order the crossmember and have the old cut out and new welding in properly. I dont see why not?

I have a Tuff Country 4" drop bracket. I've looked at different part websites and none of them sell the part individually.

Yeah I kinda had that feeling you cant just get the crossmember. Is the entire crossmember cut out or just partial?

Pretty much the whole thing except the ends that are connected to the frame.

Ouch, yeah maybe even check a junk yard if you want it to look factory. Or like others have done and ruggedT have done. Just have a piece of stock welded back in along with a mount for the rear of the diff

I went and looked underneath the truck and the one that is actually cut is #3. I know what I could do to fix it. Just what ruggedT did with his just weld a couple flat plates on the sides and weld some square tubing in between.
