Hey Everyone, I'm in the market to replace the horrible stock front dash speakers on my 22 TRD sport. I guess the Kickers are popular and good, but I'm thinking about a set of 2 way pioneers. Anyone have any suggestions what to go with? Greatly appreciated.

It is said that the Subaru speakers are better. I don't know, because I have no problem with the OEM Toyota speakers.

The Kickers are popular because they are Plug-n-Play for both the non-JBL connectors and mounting bracket.

For me, they added what was missing and were worth it.

Start with the subaru kickers. Those definitely insert some voice and treble clarity that wasn't there before. Then if you want to go further, upgrade the doors.

Or you could go full hog with sound deadening and a quality replacement. But for the noisy, weird acoustics of a truck cab, you're getting diminishing returns if you put "higher quality than Kicker" into the dash and nothing else.

doesn't a component 6x9 with the twitter on the dash will sound better ? I also was looking at the pioneer 2 way components but everyone here like the Subaru tweeter which i think everyone install that one because it
was the easiest to start with but maybe not the best .

For the same price you can put separates up front and have a much better result.

when you do the dash ones have the new ones right there within reach. when you pull the wire connector off the old one it is very short so without letting go of it grab the new one and connect. if the wire falls down in the dash cavity good luck fishing it back out.
