What would the symptoms of failed bushings in the front diff support brackets be? I'm getting a banging noise up front when I go over speed bumps and other rough terrain. The Diff bushings are original from 2005 and look pretty beat. Everything else upfront is tight and new (shocks & coils, U&L control arms, Sway bar bushings and tie rod ends.) I don't think it is the steering intermediate shaft either. Almost feels like something heavy ( like the diff ) is moving around a bit. Any ideas?

That would only occur in 4wd, when does the clunking occur? The only bushing that would cause that is the rear mount. Sounds more like LCA low torque.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Maybe place your hand on the front fender above the wheel opening then push forward and pull back. My fender was loose. Tightening the fender bolts eliminated my clunk
