For those who just installed their lift, it might occur at a later time. I installed my OME Medium kit in July and the vibes hit hard last monday. Probably 2-3k miles on the lift. Should have done it while I was doing the lift.

Edit: Does anyone know what socket mm size the axle nut is?

I changed mine without removing the axle nut. I just pulled it at the diff and moved it to one side. I already had the Lower Control arm, sway bar link ect off cause I was lifting. But I didn’t have to remove caliper, rotor, ect... pretty easy job.

Yes, the moment I drove off the lot after having a 2.25" leveling kit installed I noticed the vibration. Was still running the stock wheels/tires and it was very obvious. It did diminish when the truck got warmer so I wasn't able to replicate the noise for the shop. Now that it's cold out, it always there at 60 kph (40mph).

Now that I've stuffed the 33's onto the truck the sound hadn't gone away or gotten worse.

Yes. There has been cases where it has gone out without a lift installed.

I had my bushing installed buy a Toyota master technician, who has installed over 180 of the bushings. I asked him about this and he said if your a heavy off road person and use your front diff a lot go with the 140w, otherwise the 75-90w is fine. I trust him and he has an excellent reputation as a Toyota 4x4 mechanic, 140 seams pretty heavy to me.

    Too many to list...
Anyone have the removal tool they'd part with? Located in DC - DMV area.

After reading the entire thread, think I'll be doing this with/just ahead of new suspension (between 5100s and 6112/5160)... Too many positive testimonials not to spend the extra $80 for bushing, seal, and peace of mind.
Replaced the suspension among other things on my old TL-S but never messed with a CV axle before (luckily I guess). Nervously excited...

Hey bro do you still have the packaging for the seal? If so what was the part number?

I had the same problem. Slidehammer axle puller from Autozone popped it right out. Had to use a 2x4 to pop it back in.

    Not much stock left.
In the video on ECGS's website, they mention that the ARB front locker uses a busing rather than the needle bearing. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of this? I'm looking to do the 4.88 gears and an ARB locker, so curious if locker takes care of the needle bearing issue.
