Ever since my lift (888 ome coils, dakar leaf springs, bilstein 5100) I have experienced vibration. It always comes around 40kmph. Wether I am accelerating to 40, braking down to 40 or just no foot on gas/brake it will vibrate whenever the speedo is around 40. I tried turning on 4wd when it vibrates, to me it deosnt really appear to reduce the feel. I installed the ome carrier bearing spacer, didnt do much. Truck was aligned twice and wheels were balanced twice. Next week I will habe the ECGS bushimgs installed. Regardless of wether it will rid of thenvibration I think its a good investment. Will report back soon.

Are you guys replacing your snap ring on the cv axle? Nobody seems to mention it, but toyota lists it as a non-reusable part.

I lifted my front end about 1.75" last month. Today I noticed when going around 60mph, my steering wheel gets really shaky..is the that a symptom of the bearing failing? I've never read about seeing symptoms going that fast nor do I wanna put it in 4wd at that speed.

Sounds like a balance issue with the wheels...

I've had my new wheels and tires on for 2months now and never had any issues like that.

Just checked, still see weights on my front wheels anyways. I also checked to see if there was any play in the cv shaft and there was a little bit..should there be any?

I'm interested, but before we go through the trouble of shipping across the county... I feel like this is too easy to make. Has anyone made one using a T-channel nut, small piece of steel plate, and a threaded rod? I've read too many posts/threads to remember if I came across someone doing it. Sorry if I missed it
My suspension kit is ordered. Pumped to get this done.

Yes, someone in this thread made one. There are pics and a description of what he did somewhere in here. You would just have to scroll through to find it.

Bought what I think I need yesterday, will try to make the tool today. Unfortunately it’s too damn cold here to see if it works... hopefully next weekend as I have suspension parts starting to show up :fingerscrossed:

I ordered the ecgs bushing and an ARB front air locker and forgot you dont need the bushing if you have an arb locker.
Going to post mine up for sale soon along with the removal tool.

Didn't know that. Just started getting vibes today after a few months of lift in the truck. Maybe I should expedite the locker and gears install... hhhhmmmmm
