Dude. Going through the same mess. Smooth truck, fails with wheels & tires. I just keep telling myself: "next week, Next. Week." I'm going to be pissed as hell if I don't get my wheels mounted by Tuesday.

I ordered procomp 7089s and received 7069s. My wife gagged when she saw the 69s. So we have to send them back and get the other ones. Ugh. Hope they get here soon

Hahahahahaha... Laughing my ass off. I'm mounting 7069s. To each his own, but I wanted the cheapest, toughest looking, alloys I could find. They're going to get beat to hell.

I have others that have the 7069s. I just like the spoke look of the 7089s. And Chipi3s I have not heard of the vibes coming back. I ha e done like 3 weeks of research on this as soon as I chose to lift my truck maybe for a few that may have had something else going on or drove with the bad needle bearing too long.

I haven't heard that yet. Hope to get at least 50k out of the bushing.

I plan on preemptively installing the bushing this weekend when I do my lift. Is the ECGS bushing expected to wear out after some time? If so, is it just a matter of replacing it again?

From what ecgs states on the install video was that the bushing should last the life of the vehicle. But like most of us know Toyota's last a looong time. They did also state that if for some reason it fails that you should hear a metal to metal sound before total failure to alert you of a failure. They say they haven't seen one yet.

I watched the video and I'm wondering if something there may have been damaged or the bushing was pushed too far in. Again this is my opinion. It may be wrong but mine had play and after install there was none. Drives better than when I bought it.

Damn. And in a 3rd gen no less. I'm crossing my fingers. Everything is so smooth right now, I can't imagine it going south again.

Anyone have a bearing removal tool they want to sell for below MSRP? I promise to return the favor when I'm done with it.

Lots of stuff on diff removal and the bushing install. Anything on doing the Seal too? I have not found videos focusing a lot of attention on messing with that, how is it?

I have terrible vibration, dare I say rumble, and my truck is stock. Dealer says it's normal! Will installing this bushing help a stock set-up?

Does it go away in 4x4? If so, replace the bearing. If not, then look elsewhere.

I have over 25,000 miles on the ecgs bushing now. The truck still handles, performs, and rides smooth. It's a very quick, easy, inexpensive solution to a known problem.

Unfortunately it still vibrates when 4 hi is on. I rotated the tyres, tightened the Ubolts, checked for play in the drive shaft. Any member with suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps an out of balance tire or tires? Or bad alignment?
