So I've kinda messed up my drain plug for my front diff by somewhat rounding out the plug. Tried torx and hex bit and it's so damn tight it aint funny. Anyone else have a problem loosening the front diff drain plug? If so what did you do to break it loose?

Very common problem and a lot of answers if you do a search on here. I don’t have time to provide links at the moment, get some PB Blaster or something similar on there ASAP until you find the answers you need.

If you stripped out the drain plug you can try removing by buying a special $65 plug tool, using a screw extractor bit, hammering in a larger hex bit, welding on a hex bit or something else to aid in removal, and probably the last thing to try in terms of "fun" would be using a chisel to knock it out.

Before you start trying any of that stuff I'd go buy the Lexus drain & fill plugs which have a 14mm bolt head to make it easier in the future. Part numbers 90341-24016 for the drain, 90341-18060 for the fill. Got mine for like $25 shipped online.
