    6" lift kit suspension
I am installing a 6 " lift kit on my 05 Tacoma . I've disconnected the drive shaft from the front differential and still have the cv axles in place and didn't have to remove them, just supported them. got my new mounts for the diff in place and bolted to the diff. my question is, is there anyway something could come loose inside the diff from disconnecting the drive shaft? the reason I ask is because when I turn the diff by hand where the driveshaft mounts, the drive axles don't spin. I don't know if this is a problem or normal. hoping someone here has a comment?

The axles won't spin if you turn that end of it unless you have 4WD engaged. Should be normal.

thanks for the replies, I didn't think anything could have come loose in the diff. from disconnecting it. so the add actuator disconnect all gearing. does anyone know where I could get a diagram of a Tacoma front diff. break down?
