My truck currently has a factory e-locker on the rear that has worked out well. I'm thinking about adding one to the front. Anyone use a front e-locker? If so what are you using?

Reminds me, I gotta go chase down my rear elocker issue one day! I vote air upfront!:D

my rear oem locker just suddenly stopped working good thing I had the front air locked to pull me through!

Think it’s the more viable solution. But if you’re dead set there are plenty of threads on 3rd Gen front e lockers up in here!

My neighbor uses an air locker on the front of his jeep. Whats the advantage of an air locker vs e-locker?

It’s a debatable personal preference for sure. I prefer the near instant locking pneumatics on the air locker with the additional compressor for onboard air vs the elocker a wiring and finicky electromagnetic engagement system.

Just had the Eaton E-locker installed with my 5.29 gears this past week. I have not had any chance to test it, and won't until gears are broken in. I did read many good reviews on them prior to purchase.

Keep me posted if possible. The Eaton was the locker I was looking at. May considered an air locker, just need to do some more research.
