Does anyone here hear a metal click or a clank type sound when hitting a bump or turning. I have a '06 with 3" spindles and bilstien set at the 2nd notch. Had this set up for 3 years. The noise started 6 months ago.

It's not a loud noise. It's like lightly tapping a small hammer on metal. I've checked the front end more times than I can remember in the last few months. The truck tracks straight, no wabble, the suspension feels solid.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Could be either but more than likely worn out depending on mileage. Just undo them and check for play in the joints.

I was just going to make a new post but this sounds like what I got going on. It clanks when I hit a dip in the road but if I hit multiple bumps it stops. OP was that it?

This weekend I removed the sway bar. I still get the clank noise when I hit a dip or big bump. everything seems tight in the susp. Grabbed the tires while lifted and no play whatsoever. WTH? Any suggestions?

I have it on the driver side more than anything with mine under some turning. Passenger side has a little knock under full down travel unweight type stuff. I'm guessing its my shock set up at this point (toytec 3in spacers up front)? Not running a sway bar. Tie rods just replaced and ball joints / axle boots are all good. I'm in the same boat where there is no play just a random knock every now and a again.
