I see nothing about it being "finer than frogs fur" or even being the "dogs dangles"....and from what I see on this forum, plasti-dip goes on everything but steak, that gets covered in maple syrup from what I read..:notsure:

BTW, OP, I like the looks of the colormatch and the Homer-grill. Makes the truck look more finished but on one of the pics it looks like the "eye-lid" sticks out too far to match the lines of the front-end. Is that due to the grill or the eye-lid itself?

Probably a combination of my installation and fitment after paint. They have a tab that slides in between the grill and the head light. When I received them I did a test fit with the factory grill still on and it fit perfectly snug. When I went to test fit after the new grill was installed and after paint it was tight. Plus the double sided tape. Used automotive trim mounting tape because it had the thinnest body to it and seemed like it would hold up well. It is a bit off but still very very close.

To the OP: Great work. Feels good to do look at the work you did and love it. I'm stoked for you.

To those curious about the license plate thing, think of describing in detail a mod you did on here that happened to be seen by the angry service writer at your local toyota dealership, who uses your own description of your mod as evidence that you voided your warranty even though you undid your mod before taking it in for warranty work. You can't deny it, because there's your truck license plate ID'd in your description, that they copied off the internet. Once you post it, there's no getting it back. Complicated and perhaps unlikely, but a solid example of solid reasoning nonetheless.

Just because you're crazy doesn't mean they're not after you......

Actually im not sure. Was thinking of trying to paint the chrome cover myself. Probably black. Im also in line for some devil horns from Andras. Might be cool to be able to swap out grills as I please. I'll keep you in mind if I decide to sell it;)

If you modded and voided your warranty, that's on you and you shouldn't be trying to weasel out of it anyway.

    Pay to play or don't.

Most of my warranties are void as shit. If there are problems, I fix them, unless they are actually warranty claims.

Definitly! Like I said, pictures do not do it justice at all. Have yet to run into anyone with a grill as nice as the ones you make.

Probably OME 3" w/ add a leaf for the rear. Also considering Pro Comp 3" lift. Nothing too crazy as this is still my daily driver. As far as tires I still have not decided between 285/75-16 or 255/85-16 BFG KM2's. I'll be using stock wheels with 1.25" spidertrax spacers.
