I recently switched from MTR's to KO2's The KO2's are so much more quite then the MTR's that I noticed a Growling and light whoshing sound coming from what appears to be the Passenger side front. When driving if I turn right (ie: loading the drivers side) the noise go's away, Turn left and load the passengers side and it seems worse.

So Wheel bearing it would seem. Installed a new hub set and rebuilt the passenger side axle and its still there exactly as before. Running out of patience with this. I think I might just say screw it and drive it till some thing brakes so I at least know what it is.

Any help? Could this be the diff bearing?

My diff bearing made the noise turning or driving straight. The best way to diagnose the diff bearing is to drive under conditions in which you can hear the noise then engage 4wd. If the sound goes away, it's the diff bearing. If it doesn't you at least know one thing that's not causing the noise.

Did you replace both wheel bearings, or just passenger?

I need to try the 4X4 thing. I replaced just the passenger side bearing.
