Eventually it will start happening again. When that happens, be prepared to order up the ECGS bushing and removal/install tools.

    All the time!!!
Had mine done 5 months ago, with 9000 miles sense then, still just like it should be no noise or vibration.

Is the diff just fill to spill? I did the ecgs a few weeks ago. I installed a new diff seal and I installed it a bit past flush accidentally and now I notice the surrounding diff surface has oil on it so it looks like I have a really slow leak... Anyone else had this?

It wasn't A ton of work but I don't really feel like pulling it all back apart lol. I guess the seal is sensitive to seating depth? What's the secret sauce for getting no leaks?

I also have a weird intermittent vibration now. Never had it before when it happens kind of feels like its in the steering system.

    I am having this issue.
But when switching it to 4wd the noise only slightly gets softer. Still hear the noise though. Could this be something different?

I have the noise as well. Thank you all for contributing. I just bought my 2010 Tacoma from a great friend. I changed tires from Dura Tracs to Trailrunner AT's and still have the growling sound. I have an appointment with the dealership tomorrow and TSB in hand.

I have a very similar issue. Mine is a 2019 Tacoma SR5 with a 6in BDS Lift. It's got approximately 22000 km on it. I had to put it in 4-wheel drive because of icy road conditions and snow. At 30 kilometres an hour it started vibrating and you could feel was like as if it was binding up. So I had to run it in 2 wheel drive only.. and no vibration while in 2 wheel drive. Not very many miles on it it shouldn't be doing this. I'll keep ya posted.

@g34rh34d Could we get a long term review on the ECGS bushing kit? I just bought my 2012 and it is making the clug-clug-clug groaning noise. I believe it to be this bearing on the drivers side but I would like to know how long this alternative style will last!

    Thank you!
