Has anyone had theirs fixed under warranty with a spacer lift? Is it better to remove the lift before taking it to the Dealer?

2222222222222222222222222222222222.jpg Well here is mine with 11,000 miles on it to show you the amount of lift, and how high it is with a 3" high lift, with 265's on it. Mine makes the noise, not all the time, and sometimes loud, and sometimes quietly. Well today it was loud, so I went to the Toyota house and told them what was going on, gave them a copy of the Toyota Service Bulletin, and carried them for a ride. Showed him the noise, and showed him with 4x4 engage and no noise, then not engaged and the noises return . When we got back to the shop he said it would probable be Wednesday before the parts came in, wrote down the part numbers off of the paper work I gave him, and handed me my paper work back to me. Then told me they were sorry for the problems, and they would fix it.

Is there any deals or discounts for tw members in purchasing items from ecgs? looking for the front diff bushing fix. also shipping seems outrageous the estimated shipping cost was $11.xx? is there a reason they are not listed as an official vendor on this site? any help would be appreciated.

Well my 2013 SR5 started Groaning and grinding after lift and tires, does anyone have any idea how much a auto shop will charge for this repair.

It's an easy fix you could do yourself if you have any mechanical skill at all. I had mine swapped out and put back together within 2 hours, and I am not mechanically savvy at all.

You can order all parts from ecgs, although the axle seal will be about $10 cheaper at your local stealership. Make sure you order the removal tool as well as the install tools. I believe you may find the install tools cheaper at Harbor Freight, but don't quote me on that. You will also want to drain your front diff and refill it at the same time, or when you are done doing the bushing and get the cv axle back in, just top off your front diff....but it's better to put all new gear oil in it.

Are you going to flush and fill your front diff?

I flush it and fill yesterday, thought the noise would go away

Do you happen to have the torque spec for all the nuts.

Took my truck in last week to the Dealership and told them about the issue. I showed them the above Service Bulletin. They ordered the parts and scheduled the work for today. I just picked it up and all is good. They covered it all under warranty. Hope it doesn't come back.
