Ok so I brought my truck to an off-road shop and after a little while we figured out the noise, the hub bore on the new rims is a little to small so the rotor is loose and rattles because the rim doesn't sit on the rotor. Very dangerous yes i know. The guy said the best bet since the company I got the rims from won't take them back is get 1" wheel spacers. What I'm worried about is the lugs from the hub going through the spacer, will the lug nuts or lugs hit the back of the rims, still not allowing the rim to sit on it flushly? Thanks for the help!

So help me out here, the back of the wheel isn't meeting the hub face because the hub center is too big in diameter to enter the center of the wheel?

I would think using a hub centric spacer will just result in the same situation. The wheel will not seat properly on the spacer. I'd think those wheels will need to go up for sale.

If you're in love with the wheels then you could take them to a machine shop and have them bore out the center enough to make them fit.
