Front end noise?

174000 all original front end parts. Click sound when truck on first brake. After one click if I hit the brakes again no noise. If I reverse same thing one click when braking but if I keep going in reverse and brake no new click. Any ideas which part might show this symptom. Tia

Common issue, it's just the brake pads moving up and down slightly.
My truck has done it since it had about 30k on it, I'm at 69k now. I don’t worry about it.

Some people have fixed it by adding extra hardware to the front brakes but that doesn't always fix it.

I have to agree, based solely on my experience as well.
Mines has done it since at least 2011 when came here to TW and asked about it.
