I find front sonar only good when turning into very tight parking spots, tight drive thrus, etc. If it doesn't offer front side warning, it seems pretty useless to me.

That is impressive, great attention to detail, looks OEM. I've had my truck two weeks now and am still getting used to using the hood to gauge where I am in regards to clearance. A few times I've actually had to get back in and move the truck as I was 3-4 feet out. At home I combat park so that isn't an issue.

Seems the new Raptor has it. Sure would make off-roading easier.

Corner cams. Working to find a solution to that as well.
There is another member here that has added those and I can't find his post. I thought I bookmarked it but I guess I forgot to do that. Maybe he will chime in on this thread and help us out again.

What's the range and can you adjust/fine tune?

No adjustment or fine tune on this/my system. I can get pretty close though before the tone changes from beeping to solid. This is how close I got to a focus at work before the tone went solid. I can role forward a little from here knowing I have about 8-10 inches left. As for turning in a parking spot, you can move the outside sensors closer to the edges and place them in the bumper shell. I did not want to do this because I didn't want to drill through paint. Here is another picture showing my estimates on where the sensors pick up in my setup and the strength levels. I'm basing these estimates off walking in front of the truck an taking note of where the signal seems to pick up and start beeping. It is solid when its green, yellow is a good steady beep, and red is a spaced intermittent beep. This is a 2015 Tacoma in the picture but y'all can get the picture lol. Side note, I could not see the trunk of the focus out the front windshield parking this close to it.

The good thing with Custom16's set up, it looks like you can turn the front sensors ON/OFF

anyone get interference from LED bulbs?

My sensors work perfectly during the day but when the bulbs come on, it cancels out the sensor

On a related note, the manual mentions detecting objects in front of the truck. How?

It's ok, once you learn how it's sensing objects in front of you. If it's wooden fence or empty plastic trash can, it will give you long beep within 2-3" but if it's parked car you get long beep at 12-15" and if it's utility truck with all metal bumpers you'll get long beep at 24" approx* so it measures density of the object and beeps at you accordingly.

I like the location of the warning "box". That was the part I couldn't figure out, I don't like dash cluster option shown in the Youtube video. I'm putting mine there when I install my SSO on next weekend. Thanks for sharing!

Amontances, did you install the switch that came with the Rostra? I followed the Youtube video, but added the switch. If I turn on the Rostra when the truck is running it'll sometimes reboot my radio/head unit. It doesn't happen every time, but more often than not. I was wondering if others are experiencing the same issue?
