I figured I would post my fix to a front end squeak in case anyone else has this issue.

I noticed a faint squeak from my front, driver side area. Over the last few weeks, it became very loud and consistent.

I have ADS 2.5's with external reservoirs in the front. The lower shock mount uses a spherical bearing. I'm assuming some other companies use this as well.

After pinpointing the sound, I examined the lower spherical bearing on my driver side. It looked worse than this photo (borrowed from google)8D123E70-5632-43A2-A011-FBD083B504E1.jpg

This is what is should look like

I soaked the bearing with some pb blaster. I was able to clean most of the rust out and use a ton of grease. So far, the squeak is gone but I don't imagine for long.

Next would be to replace the entire bearing itself. Anyway, hopefully this helps someone.

You left the bearing in the shock body and was able to clean it up to that pic?

    Looks pretty good.

No lol, both pics are from Google. I forgot to snap some pictures. It doesn't look too bad though
