I’ve used the Scotty Killer suggestion of AT-205 in a squirt bottle. I had some squeaking about 5 years ago. It rejuvenates rubber with no petroleum distillates. It’s not a lubricant but a conditioner. Been spraying all bushings and cv boots about 2x a year and it’s never squeaked since. I have 166K miles and almost 12 years old.

I had a similar squeak from my front driver side.

Beaverton Toyota looked it over. Told me it was my aftermarket suspension and noisy tires. Told me everything looked fine.

So, I took the wheels off and closely inspected everything myself. It ended up being a dry UCA ball joint. I found a tiny tear in the boot. It'd lost grease. Took it apart and it was full of grime. The ball joint was all loose. Replaced it and squeak went away.

I attempted to change out my front bushing, but didn't have enough room to fit my crowbar in. Put the OEM one back as it wasn't damaged to my eye, and torqued it back up. It fixed the noise.

Something to consider if you don't have a ton of miles.

Update: took it in for the 5k service on Friday and told them about the squeak and showed the advisor the video I took of it. Of course it wasn’t squeaking when I took it in. The whole tech drove it in a parking lot over speed bumps and couldn’t hear anything so nothing was done. And according to my service advisor the 2” leveling kit won’t affect factory warranty, so there’s that.

Similar noise over here as well. Not worrying about it. The what if’s will kill you. Until something grinds or falls out. No worries :rasta:

Update: Took it to a different dealer today and they called me and said they found the source of the squeak. Said it’s the passenger side body mount. Apparently it was bad enough that they get get a screwdriver in it. Parts won’t be in until tomorrow

My ‘21 TRD Sport is currently in the dealer for the same exact issue / sound as in the first video. They’ve replaced the cab mount bushing already, and that was only after they couldn’t replicate the sound but I was instantly able to do it when picking it up. Once again they haven’t been able to replicate the sound, although I have video and it’s the same sound as the first time it was in. My truck has been doing it since day 1. I just hope they can fix it.

Exact same issue here before and after 5100s lift. If I rock the truck from side to side pushing on the passenger side above the front wheel well I can get it to sing sometimes. The shop that did my lift suspects its a pinch weld around the radiator on the passenger side, but not certain.

i can get it to creeaaak just by stepping (even lightly with one foot) on the driver side running board. If two different cab mounts result in the same thing (factory and replacement), I tend to think it may be something else. Even if it isn’t making the sound, a few seconds of rocking makes it come right out. I can see on my Toyota app that they have just driven it around and then said no replication. Wonder if they hopped on the boards this time.

Mines doing the same. Eibach coil upgrades possibly have an impact? Only 1.25" increase.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I always start simple and go up the ladder…

The front end of my 2018 with 18,000 started squeaking like crazy. Took the easy path and sprayed Tri-Flow on every bushing/joint in the front end, including the tops of the coil springs.

It was immediately as quiet as a mouse….

Small price to pay for the 5 minutes this took me to do it. I might just do it every oil change since I am under there anyway!

I had both of the front mounts on my 2021 replace at 8000 miles. Curious to see how long this 2nd set last

This has been my issue for a year or two now.

Need to get my shocks rebuilt and this bearing replaced, but until then I hit it with WD-40 every two weeks or so.

Mine did that and it turned out to be the front body mounts by the bumper. I had them replaced at toyota under warranty and the noise went away

Climbed under my truck today and had someone rock it for me…..the squeaking now (very loud) is coming from my LCA’s. I’m going to try and hit it with some silicon lube and see if it helps.

I also have had the same noise. I generally start at the top, UCA bushings and work my way down. With the truck on its static weight loosen the UCA, and LCA bolts to re-grease, then torque the bolts down. As for the lower bearings, there is an issue with the factory bolt that Toyota uses as it has a tapered section causing the misalignment spacers to not sit unevenly. The front facing spacer is on the thinner part of the bolt, it will cause front end noise over time. Around 4 minutes into the video I explain the bolt issue.
